About us

Nandgaonkar Charitable Trust was founded in the year 2005 by Lt. Shri. Madhav Narayan Nandgaonkar, a distinguished personality who lived his whole life tirelessly working for upliftment of society and did immense philanthropic work in the areas such a girl child education, cultural enhancement, food for poor, etc. In the year 2015 after the sad demise of this great soul his younger son Shri. Under his mighty wings this Trust has achieved new horizons; first being 12A accreditation under Income Tax Act, 1961 and stepping into areas such as diabetes awareness and workshops conducted by imminent doctors, various donations to Mumbai based Mahila Bachat Gat, successful construction of toilets for girls at schools at Nandgaon, Sindhudurg district, distribution of diwali savoury packets to orphans, distribution of books at night high school, government school at N.M. Joshi Marg, Mumbai, distribution of food packets at tribal zone at Wada, Palghar District during covid-19 pandemic and the list goes on and on.

As we are signing off there is a beautiful quote by Confucius

“A man of humanity is one who…desiring attainment for himself, helps others to attain.”

Nandgaonkar Charitable Trust has taken pledge of benevolence at its core and breakthrough the shackles of colour, class, caste, age, etc.”
